- Use immediately after opening. Insert the spike into the infusion bottle.
- Let the liquid fill half of the drip chamber, expel all air from the infusion tubing, then close the flow regulator.
- Perform venipuncture following standard procedures and adjust the drip rate. 20 drops of distilled water delivered from the drip chamber is equivalent to (1±0.1) mL [(1±0.1) g].
