Product Name: Natural Rubber Exsanguination Tourniquet / Esmarch Bandage

Product Specifications: 04 mm (Thickness) × 15 cm (Width) × 100 m (Length) per roll

Dimensions in Inches: 0.0157" (Thickness) × 5.9055" (Width) × 3937.01" (Length)

Material: Made of high-quality medical-grade natural rubber (latex). The product is a flat, elongated strip in a beige/cream color with excellent elasticity.

Key Features:

  • Excellent elasticity with strong resilience and high伸缩性 (stretchability)

  • Soft texture that conforms comfortably to the limb, allowing uniform pressure application

  • Cut-to-size design – length can be customized as needed

  • Reusable

  • Compatible with multiple sterilization methods: gas fumigation, boiling, and autoclave (steam sterilization)

Intended Use:
Primarily used in orthopedic surgery and emergency settings. Applied by wrapping from the distal to the proximal end of a limb to expel venous blood (exsanguination), creating a bloodless surgical field when used in conjunction with a tourniquet. Also indicated for emergency hemostasis in cases of limb hemorrhage or野外 snake/insect bites. Can be used for intravenous regional anesthesia (Bier block).

Instructions for Use:
Sterilize before use (EO gas, boiling, or autoclave). Elevate the affected limb. Starting from the distal end, wrap the bandage tightly around the limb in overlapping turns toward the proximal end, ensuring no soft tissue is caught between turns. Once wrapped to the root of the limb, apply a pneumatic tourniquet over the final layer. Tourniquet inflation time should not exceed 60 minutes.

Precautions:

  • This product is supplied non-sterile and must be sterilized before each use

  • After use, clean and disinfect; allow to dry thoroughly and apply talc powder before prolonged storage to extend shelf life

  • Strictly monitor application time to prevent limb ischemia

  • Contraindicated in patients with right heart insufficiency, thrombosis, or tumors
